Venezia - Il carnevale libertino

Quando pensiamo al Carnevale, tutti noi immediatamente richiamiamo immagini di gente festosa con costumi appariscenti e che si scatena per le strade ballando la samba. Indubbiamente il carnevale al quale approdiamo con il pensiero è il carnevale di Rio De Janeiro, di certo quello più famoso al mondo. Il carnevale di Rio però è molto “giovane”, è un’eredità dei primi colonizzatori portoghesi che lo importarono dall’Europa assieme alla tradizione delle maschere italiane.

Non tutti sanno che invece il carnevale più antico del mondo è italiano, ed è il tutt’oggi famosissimo Carnevale di Venezia.
